International Intensive Course
„The Actor Space“
Course „The Actor Space“ is divided into 3 levels.
We will study the theatrical action and gesture (organization, control and awareness) according to the principles of Meyerhold's Biomechanics and will apply them to the acting.
Through daily physical training, students will experience their expressive potential in relation to rhythm and space.
3 weeks - 3 levels
98 working hours: 88 h practice - 10 h theory
First level know the basic principles of the study of the gesture by following the Meyerhold Theater Biomechanics education system.
Second level deepen the basic principles with daily physical training which will also focus on the visual rhythm of the gesture and on the study of the expressive form of the actor's body.
Third level focus on the study of expressive movement in different spaces such as practicable of different shape, stairs, tables, on the eccentric gesture and on how to attract the attention of the public.

Commedia dell'Arte and theater biomechanics, improvisation and dance theater are some of the techniques used.
During the workshop, participants use masks of the characters of Commedia dell'Arte, made in Italy.
January 6 - 10, 2020
The program is full-immersion, engaging all day for 5 days. The fifth day ending with a performance open to the audience.
The workshop is aimed at students, professional actors, dancers, and any professional in the field of performing arts who wish to enrich their experience with international approaches and methods; to gain greater body awareness, exploring all the possibilities of the movement totally free from schemes and with fun.
